The New York Caledonian Club sought a new logo that would represent the rich cultural heritage of Scotland while reflecting its connection to New York City. The logo needed to balance tradition and modernity while appealing to members of the club and the broader community.
Solution and process
For the New York Caledonian Club, I crafted a design that unites the spirit of Scotland and New York City. Inspired by Lady Liberty, her face became the centerpiece, symbolizing NYC, with a bold blue hue from the Scottish flag. Her halo points were tinted to evoke Scotland’s rolling Highlands. This thoughtful combination celebrates both cultures in a striking, meaningful emblem.
